The Howard Lighting linear fluorescent strip fixtures includes series: FSA4, FSA8, FSB4, and FSB8. The retrofit kits, that include the FSR4 and FSR8 series, deliver energy savings, improved light and reliability, and utility rebates. These fixtures upgrade existing 4' and 8' strip fixtures into more efficient electronic T8 or T5 strips.  There are multiple options available to retrofit with a reflector or ballast cover.  The retrofit fluorescent strip kit can provide up to 32% energy reduction with the same light.

The fluorescent strip line from Howard Lighting is designed for use in shops/sheds, task lighting, display cases, utility areas, and storage areas. All fixtures are UL listed and these models feature an electronic, inherent thermal protection, Class P, and sound rated A ballast.  There is also easy access to the ballast and wiring compartment through the removable raceway panel.  They feature high quality lamp holders, tool free snap together assembly, die-formed code gauge steel, and several knockouts on back, sides, and ends.  These fixtures are shipped fully wired and NEC compliant luminaire power disconnect.

By retrofitting a T12 magnetic fluorescent fixture for an 8 foot retrofit strip will save an average of $47.00 in energy savings per year, per fixture.  The retrofit strip system uses 154 watts per fixture while the T12 fixture uses 244 watts.  The FSR4 4 foot retrofit kit uses 1 gear tray, while the FSR8 8 foot uses two 4 foot gear trays that install independently, making the installation of the fixture easy.  They also feature lamp holder cutouts to guarantee correct spacing and that the lamp holder will not fall out during the installation.
