Howard Lighting's fluorescent fixtures product line allows for savings so significant that these fixtures end up paying for themselves over the course of a few years.  When compared to metal halide high bays, fluorescent fixtures 25-20% energy savings.  This product line includes linear fluorescent highbays, retrofit kits, strips, wraps, vaporproof highbays and strips, as well as compact fluorescent canpoy, dusk to dawn, and wallpacks.   These fixtures will save energy, time, and money.  When compared to HID lighting systems, the linear fluorescent fixtures have a longer life allowing for reduced upkeep and maintenance costs and operate at reduced energy costs.  Fluorescent fixtures from Howard Lighting also feature sound free ballasts, improved color rendition, and segmented optics for better horizontal and vertical illumination.

Howard Lighting manufactures their fluorescent fixtures to meet all the demands in the market. They offer several linear and compact fluorescent options, as well as the retrofit strip kit that allows old magnetic fluorescent strips to be converted, without having to replace the entire fixture, to a newer electronic fluorescent T8 strip.  These retrofit kits are offered in 4 and 8 foot options. The retrofit troffer kit, for example, has up to 34% energy reduction with the same light.

 

With an estimation of more than 4 million commercial buildings having older fluorescent and HID systems and almost 1 billion inefficient T12 lamps that should be replaced with T5 or T8 lamps, Howard Lighting has the cost and energy efficient solutions.  When compared to metal halide fixtures, Howard Lighting's linear fluorescent fixtures can produce an average savings of $126 per year on a new system.  An investment of $140.40 to upgrade each new fixture would, on average, take 13 months to recover that investment in energy savings.
