Howard Lighting CFL Self-Ballasted Lamps

Howard Lighting CFL Self-Ballasted Lamps

Howard Lighting's self-ballasted compact fluorescent lamps are an excellent alternative to incandescent lighting as they are energy and cost efficient while producing maximum lighting.  The styles include: decorative, reflector, spiral, globe, and A shaped.  These lamps can last up to 10 times longer than incandescent lamps, while only using 1/4th of the energy.  There are no added costs or modifications needed as these have been designed with a screw-in base.

The line of self-ballasted compact fluorescent lamps from Howard Lighting include: Mini spiral, Reflector, Chandelier, "A" Shape, and Globe.  They are designed for use in retail, hotels, enclosed indoor/outdoor, wall sconces, residential, task lighting, and surface ceiling fixtures. These lamps have an average annual savings, when compared to incandescent lamps, of $12-$77 and last about 10 times longer. They also save about $30 in electricity costs over the life of the lamp, produce 75% less heat which makes them a safer option, and are available in a wide selection of sizes, shapes, and application uses.  The average rated life for the torpedo, globe, R30, R40, and PAR38 series is 8,000 hours and the T2 and T3 10,000 hours.

If just one standard incandescent lamp was replaced in every American home with a self-ballasted CFL lamp, the energy saved could light more than 3 million homes for an entire year. That would save more than $600 million in energy costs annually and reduce greenhouse gases in the equivalent to the emissions of more than 800,000 cars.
