Round / Circular Induction Lamps
One of the most common forms of induction lamp is the round, or circular, induction luminaire. Circular induction lighting offers high efficiency and excellent lamp life even in extreme temperatures. Round induction lights are especially well suited to commercial lighting installs where the light source is difficult to reach or costly to change. Common uses of circular induction bulbs are warehouse lighting, gymnasiums, street and parking lot lighting, and industrial lighting.
The high efficiency of these induction lamps translates into a low total cost of ownership for the installation. Because the electrodes that charge the round induction lamp are outside the lamp envelope, they don't degrade over time as the electrodes in fluorescent lamps do.
As a result, induction lighting offers unbeatable lamp life, with many models rated at more than 100,000 hours. Their long life makes induction lamps an ideal option for applications or retrofits where long-term maintenance is difficult or costly.
