On the vt8 fixture do the t8 bulbs have one prong on each ends? Are the bulbs 59 watts? How many bulbs does the fixture use? Thanks

Steve,
Thank you for your question, one we get quite frequently. Since the beginning of last year 8' lamps are no longer part of the lighting industry's future. T12's have not been produced at all since then. As such, all fixture manufacturers are only making fixtures for 4' lamps. So in this 8' fixture the minimum amount of lamps would be 2 - as there would be two 4' lamps "end to end" or tandem. 4' T8 lamps are bi-pin lamps and are definitely more efficient than the old 8'ers (more reliable as well). Typically a T8 is 32W, although there are Energy Saver lamps out there that use less. Typically our customers purchase these with 4 lamps total although you can get 2 or 6 as well.
Thank you,
