CREE's TSP-EDG Transportation series provides significant increases in energy savings compared with the metal halide fixtures they replace while delivering high lumen packages and durability designed for high-vibration areas such as bridges, overpasses, roadways, and tunnels. The fixtures are designed with a durable, rugged extruded aluminu, die cast aluminum and stamped metal components and sealed for weathertight operation. Construction & Materials:
• Slim, low profile design
• Luminaire is constructed form rugged extruded aluminum, die cast aluminum and stamped metal components
• LED driver is mounted in the extruded aluminum side of the luminaire and sealed for weathertight operation
• Includes high performance heat sinks and heavy gauge stainless steel mounting bracket (non-painted)
• Designed for downlight applications only
• External wet location junction box with field wiring connections included on CM and DM mount
• DM designed for direct mount to solid surfaces
• CM mount designed for mounting to cantenary cable. Cable hanger assembly allows luminaire to be leveled when installed and is adjustable to clamp 1/2" (13mm) to 1" (25mm) cable
• PD1 and PD2 mounts have convenient pendant coupling mounting method. Pendant coupling is welded stainless steel and has 2" (51mm) thread depth for 1.25" or 1.5" NPSM pendant (by others)
