Howard Lighting's linear fluorescent vaporproof highbay fixtures are designed for use in car washes, entrance lighting, food processing, beverage industry, public access, construction sites, and industrial lighting. Both series, the VHA1 and VHA2, have complete protection from dust and moisture since they are fully gasketed. All of the fixtures in both the VHA1 and VHA 2 have a 5VA flammability rating. They have an average of $128 energy saving per year per fixture.
The VHA1 and VHA2 series fixtures operate 3 to 6 lamps and comes standard with a Howard ballast. The VHA2 has three material options for the diffuser: Option A which has 100% virgin acrylic impact resistant, long lasting clarity, and resistance to weathering, Option P which uses UV stabilized polycarbonate for maximum impact resistance, and Option F that features a frosted lens that is 100% impact resistant acrylic. This series also has optional mounting hardware along with the standard 2 versatile 316 stainless steel v-hook mounting brackets, which the VHA1 also features. It also has the options of zinc plated or 316 stainless steel rigid mounting beam, or 316 stainless steel flexible ceiling mount, or a wire hanging kit. The VHA1 series also has the the wire hanging kit as an option.
The body of these fixtures are a one-piece design so there are no breaks, leaks or cracks. They feature reinforced fiberglass, so the body is strong and corrosion resistant. They also have 12 latches on the housing for positive lens retention. The 95% enhanced specular aluminum reflector is an available option for these fixtures and they can withstand pressure washing up to 1500 PSI.
