LED High Bay Fixtures and Retrofit Kits

High bay light fixtures are common in warehouses, large retail areas, sports facilities, manufacturing facilities, and anywhere else that might require fixtures to be mounted very high indoors. Typically mounting heights range from 15 ft to 40+ ft and thus needing very high powered light fixtures to light up the areas correctly. Current old metal halide / HID high bay fixtures range in wattage from 250W up to 1000W. They not only use a lot of energy but it costs a lot to have a lift and personnel replace the bulbs every 1.5 - 2 years. We have both very high powered LED retrofit kit plates and also new high bay LED fixtures that save 50-60% energy and are rated to last 10+ years are typical operating hours. Other LED benefits include up to 50,000 hour lamp life, no flickering, naturally being fully dimmable, saving 30%+ energy, vastly superior operation in cold temperatures, and have no hazardous materials and are recyclable.

Fixtures housing LED lamps are the best choice for warehouses, gymnasiums, big-box retail stores, and certain industrial applications that need ample illumination and high-quality light. These spaces have a lot of square footage. They also demand a lot of light per square foot, and more lumens per watt than other applications. Retrofits and new construction of these structure types benefit from the excellent color rendering and ultra-high efficiency of of LED light fixtures. That's because the buildings use ultra-efficient LED hi-bay light fixtures to keep utility bills and watts-per-square-foot to a minimum.

For high-ceiling spaces like certain industrial settings, warehouses and other highbay applications, the need for task lighting or accent lighting is usually minimal. Instead, they emphasize high efficiency in their LED lighting design. Hi-bay lighting refers to a fixture installed at a ceiling height greater than 25 feet. Linear and globe-style LED lamps are one of the most-used lighting technologies for these jobs, and often deliver more than 100,000 hours of rated lamp life in addition to the major boost in efficiency.
